The HKUST Donor Appreciation Day was held on May 7, 2019. Donors spent a joyful evening with HKUST Council members, senior administrators, faculties and students and gained a more in-depth understanding about the University's development and achievements.

The event started with campus tour which included seeing innovative products developed by our alumni startups, meeting the HKUST Robotics Team led by Prof. Kam Tim WOO, and visiting the Coastal Marine Laboratory to learn more about the latest research on marine ecology.

The appreciation reception after the tour started with a vote of thanks by President Wei SHYY. Students who received support from the Alumni Endowment Fund did a sharing with the audience. Prof. John CHAI, Council Vice-Chairman, and President SHYY then presented souvenirs to donors. The grand finale was a lucky draw with prizes donated by our alumni.
