LED on Silicon (LEDoS) chips consist of high-resolution and high-brightness individually addressable LED pixels on a silicon-based active-matrix substrate. Potential applications include micro-display in mobile electronics, intelligent traffic systems, e-books, portable micro-projectors, bio-sensor arrays and programmable lighting sources.
